In the spirit of our Patron St. Pius-X, we, the catholic community of St Pius-X Manoa aspire to live the happy and good witnessing of the Gospel through our Faith, Service, and Praise.
Pope Pius X is perhaps best remembered for his encouragement of the frequent reception of Holy Communion, especially by children. The second of 10 children in a poor Italian family, Joseph Sarto became Pius X at age 68. He was one of the 20th century’s greatest popes. -Author: Franciscan Media
Holy Communion is the shortest & safest way to heaven.
- Pope Pius X
On February 2, 1958, Fr. Cyril Gombold received word that a new parish was officially designated in Manoa Valley. Four weeks later it was revealed that St. Pius X, Pope of the Holy Eucharist, was chosen as patron saint of the new church. "Renew all things in Christ", became our parish motto.
